Sorry everyone about the lack of a real update yesterday. Both Edward and us had a pretty good day today. Edward has been doing a lot better today with his o2 saturation, almost as if he is a different child. He is up to 7 cc. of mommy's milk every 2 hours and if he continues to do well with his milk intake they may be able to take out is pic line. ( basically a IV that runs through his arm and into his chest ) they are still concerned that there may still be something growing in his ventilation tube, and at some they might have to change the tube out. another thing the nurses have mentioned to us is, that he has a hernia which at some point down the road will have to be surgically corrected.
Well misty and I felt the best today we have in quite a while. Today we were quite busy, we were able go pickup a copy of Edwards birth certificate and a copy of the Denver post from his birth date, which will be a nice keep sake for him later on in his life. Today we also were able to take some very need time out from everything and were able to get away for a small date. It was really nice just to sit down and really spend sometime just relaxing with each other. Well that's it for tonight, again I really want to thank everyone that is keeping us in their thoughts and prays, we really do appreciate it.
